OUR 2019 HONOREES

Created in 1928, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is the largest supplier of treated water in the United States, providing water to a service area of 19 million people in six counties.

Tom Morello is a groundbreaking musician both as a solo artist (The Nightwatchman) and as a member of the rock bands Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. He’s long been a valiant activist across issues of homelessness, poverty, hunger, and social justice, among other causes.

UNITE HERE! Local 11 represents more than 30,000 workers employed in hotels, restaurants, airports, sports arenas, convention centers and elsewhere throughout Southern California and Arizona.

ACCEPTING ON BEHALF
